  Mark Amerika's forthcoming book with The MIT Press is entitled META/DATA. You can pre-order the book here. Amerika's most recent DVD with surround sound installation is entitled CHROMO HACK which premiered at Techno Sublime. Amerika's DVD with surround sound project, entitled CODEWORK, grows out of his international VJ tour and was recently acquired by the Denver Art Museum. Another collaborative DVD project Amerika has released is the wildly popular Society of the Spectacle (A Digital Remix), the latest work from the artist collective DJRABBI. SOS has been exhibited in over 30 international venues and the next stop is The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. A recent net art commission from the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is called 24 Hour Count and a new blog art project, Passagen-Work, recently exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver.   Mark Amerika, a professor of art and art history at the University of Colorado, has recently been a Visiting Professor at the University of Technology Sydney, an International Research Fellow and Visiting Artist at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, an Artist-In-Residence in the Honor's Programme at the National University of Singapore's Cyberarts / Cyberculture Research Initiative, and a Senior Research Fellow at the trAce "Writers for the Future" TEXTlab project at Nottingham-Trent University. He has also twice served as Visiting Professor in the Art and Algorithm Research Group at the University of Bremen's Department of Informatiks. In 2005, he was invited by the Director-General of UNESCO to participate in the World Summit Conference on "ICT and Creativity" which took place in Vienna.
